The Susan Bundy Girls Home is a pre- and post-dispositional residential program designed to house ten females between the ages of 13 and 17.  We provide services to the Counties of Lee, Scott, Wise, Dickenson, Russell, Buchanan, Tazewell, Washington, Smyth, and the Cities of Norton and Bristol, Virginia.
Our program uses a level system approach to treatment.  Each of the six levels are geared to introduce responsibility, the need for education, as well as image and character building based on each individual resident's needs.  As the  residents progress through the six levels, they are able to earn more privileges.

The Susan Bundy Girls Home has qualified and caring staff who help manage the youth and guide them through each level until they are able to complete the program.  The average length of stay here is about six months.  The staff consists of the program supervisor, five case managers, relief staff, a secretary and a cook.

The Girls Home is centrally located within the town of Lebanon and is well designed to meet the needs of the youth placed here.  If you would like to get more information about the program and the services we offer, check the availability of bed space, or make a referral, please contact Carolyn Brown at (276) 889-4080, or via email at sbgh@hjdc.org
